At the end of 5 weeks on tour, I’m at the National Storytelling Network’s annual conference in Kansas City, Missouri. About 200 story enthusiasts from all over the continent are here for workshops, performances, forums, swaps and slams. It’s already exciting, and the conference has barely begun! Wednesday night’s story slam brought good samples of the unexpected, like a 5 year-old’s view of a SWAT team entering his father’s apartment through the kitchen window. (Well done, Cooper!!)

I’ll be leading a workshop (“String Stories for the Expert, the Tongue-tied, and the Klutzy” Friday 3:30; and doing a showcase (Saturday 10:15 and 11:45).

Workshop handout is here: Workshop Handout NSN 2018. Thank you to all who attend the session, and happy stringing!
